Gus's Story

Gus joined Mules N More in August 2025. He is estimated around 19 years old, 12.2 hands, 560 lbs. Gus was a pasture pet for the last 15 years and is still learning what life is about. He’ll need an experienced owner to help continue building his self-confidence. Gus is insulin resistant and will require a home with a dry lot (currently very well managed). He has had X-rays with no signs of coffin bone rotation. He’s very smart and would make a perfect project for the right partner.

Gus is up to date on rabies and 6-way vaccines, annual dental float, deworming, and has a negative Coggins. He also has recent set of bloodwork for his insulin levels, and will provide x-rays.
