Dove's Story
Dove is a soft-eyed gray Quarter Horse mare who came to us from auction this summer. At just three years old, she’s still figuring out the world — but she’s already showing us what a kind and willing partner she’s going to be.

She can be a little hesitant to catch in large spaces, but once the halter’s on, she’s as sweet as they come. Dove stands nicely for the farrier, enjoys being brushed, and is easy to handle on the ground. She hasn’t had any formal training yet, so she’ll need someone experienced in starting or bringing along a young horse, and who values patience and consistency as much as progress.

Dove still feels very young — a bit unsure at times, curious at others — but she has a good heart and a gentle nature that make her a joy to work with. With the right guidance, she has all the potential to grow into a lovely and loyal partner.
