Cruiser

Have you always dreamed of the Black Stallion or even a pint sized Friesian as a pasture pet? Meet Cruiser! He is a beautiful, black Shetland pony. He is 12 hands, and a bit overweight right now. He is not broke to ride or drive and we seek a home that will not require either. He is a spunky boy, can be grabby for treats but hasn't kicked.<br/><br/>Cruiser is a wonderful horse or pony companion, however he picks on our donkey and goats. He is friendly and food oriented but could use a refresher on manners. He leads and trailers well but is currently sedated for farrier. Cruiser spent many years without much being asked of him. With patience and force free training, he will settle in. He is an energetic 24 year old with likely many years to go. He lost his lifelong companion last year and will soon lose his current companion. He has lived with geldings and mares but is separated for feeding. He is on pasture but may benefit from a dry lot or reduced food intake. He is an easy keeper and gains weight easily! Cruiser will need an equine friend. <br/><br/> Cruiser is current on vet/farrier and had vaccines and teeth floated July 2026. <br/><br/>Cruiser is located in Oakville, WA and available within a reasonable driving distance.
