CLASSIC COOKIE- 14 year-old ~15 hand Standardbred mare - light leisurely pleasure riding (walking only) for intermediate rider or companion horse<br/><br/>Classic was once in training to be a Standardbred racehorse, but never raced. She was sold and worked as an Amish buggy horse at some point where she suffered a fetlock injury. She ended up with a broker where her fate was uncertain. HRU stepped in to rescue her in December 2023.<br/><br/>Due to her old injury, Classic is suited for light, relaxed walks under saddle with an intermediate rider. She gets a daily Equioxx pill per vet's recommendation. She is a great companion turned out with other horses. Classic is very sweet and a daughter of HRU resident and retired racehorse/broodmare Cool Cookie.<br/><br/>Available to an approved home with contract with a minimum 60 day trial period. Adoption fee $100 to a riding home. Adopter must be located within an eight (8) hour drive of Farmingdale, NJ OR the Lexington, Kentucky area.
