Arby

Arby was surrendered to us. His feet were in HORRIFIC condition (see photo) from a lifetime of neglect. When we found Arby, his hooves curled ALLLLLL the way around and he had been locked in a stall for WELL over a decade with manure several feet deep (we had to dig him out of his stall when we rescued him).<br/><br/>He is now receiving the care that he needs. His feet have been trimmed multiple times, and he is currently comfortable tootling around the yard. He respects electric fence and is a very low drama pony!<br/><br/>He is very small. Due to his size and hoof history we will not be adopting him out to a home that intends to ride him. We require he goes to a home with an educated farrier who has experience with neglect cases. We have radiographs to pass along to his new family so the new farrier can be as informed as possible moving forward.<br/><br/>He LOVES to be brushed and is quite suitable for smaller children to handle and care for. He is very quiet around other animals and is very well behaved for the farrier. Arby is a sweet little pony who is FINALLY getting his chance at a good life! Will it be with you?
