Amy Namey's Story

Amy is sound at the W/T/C and moves out really nicely. She is easy to catch whether she's out in the pasture or in a stall and run. She truly enjoys working and is very eager to please! Amy picks up all four feet for the farrier and stands well to be groomed and saddled. We were told Amy has jumped in the past, though we have no videos of her doing so. For the past few months she has been ridden primarily in a western saddle. Though we feel she could do great in most disciplines with her temperament. She takes the bit very well and as you can see is okay with a flag. Amy is a very smart and sweet mare who just needs a good home!

July 15th 2023: Amy has competed in our 4H Equine Makeover and did extremely well! She was the first horse of the day in the event and did phenomenal. She did all of the requirements we asked she be taught in the span of 90 days and she passed with flying colors! Before this she had a hard time loading in a trailer and as you can see she loads like a dream! We encourage you to watch her performance in the video and take a look at her!

Amy's adoption fee is $4,000.00

All available Nexus Equine horses are current on:

-Coggins

-Vaccines

-Dental

-Farrier

-Worming

-Microchipped

If you are interested in fostering or adopting any Nexus horses please fill out our adoption interest survey on our website here

https://nexusequine.org/adoption-interest-survey/
