Alex's Story
Alex is easy to catch in a small pen, follows and self-loads into a slant trailer, picks up all four feet respectfully, and has traveled to rodeos, practices, trails and the vet. He walks and trots while hand-walking and has been working on ponying and lunging, too.

Alex was saddled for the first time June 18 and had his first ride July 9! He’s now comfortable being mounted from either side, flexes willingly, walks and trots under saddle, and has even been ridden in just a halter. He wears boots, blankets and a fly mask without issue.

He’s still a young Mustang with things to work on. Alex can be harder to catch when he’s out with friends, can be reluctant to back or move out, and can still react to the sound or movement of tack being thrown up. But that’s what the Foundation Division is all about—building confidence, skills and a solid foundation for whatever comes next.
