Ace's Story

Sometimes the best horses are the ones who need someone to believe in them.

Ace may not stop you in your tracks with a flashy photo, but don't let that fool you. Behind those blue eyes is a smart, athletic little horse that moves very well and has so much potential waiting for the right person.

He's still learning, and can be slow to trust new people, but he wants to understand. With patience, consistency, and a kind approach, he gains confidence and tries his heart out.

Ace is a project horse and needs someone who enjoys the journey of developing a horse and partnership. His ideal person will celebrate the quiet victories and help him discover just how capable he really is.

Ace would excel as a dressage pony, working equitation mount, or anywhere his partner wants to take him.

If you're looking for a great project with all the potential in the world, we would love for you to meet this special little guy.

Ace's adoption fee is $1,500 and he will come up to date on everything and microchipped.

The Asher House's Adoption Policy
The Asher House currently focuses on adoptions within Oregon, Washington, and Idaho so that we can provide post-adoption support to our adopters and animals. If you live in one of these three states and see a dog you’re interested in, please complete our adoption application. As part of our adoption process, we ask for two references and conduct a video home check. If we believe one of our animals could be a good match for you, we’ll schedule a meet-and-greet for everyone in your household, including your current dog(s). This gives everyone an opportunity to meet and helps us determine together whether the adoption is the right fit. Our goal is always to create safe, loving, and successful lifelong matches for our animals and their adopters. All of our adoptable animals are on our website www.theasherhouse.com.
