Meet Zulu <br/><br/>We received a call about a bunch of very young husky type puppies that had seemingly been dumped in a rural area. When rescuers went to catch them, they met mom and knew she was coming along!<br/><br/>Zulu is one of the calmest Shepherd mixes you'll ever meet and anyone that adopts will be lucky to have her! Not only was she an awesome mom to her puppies, she is a great companion and family dog and will easily transition into about any home with her temperament. She loves to spend her days relaxing, and when the weather's not too hot she enjoys laying on the porch, surveying her yard. <br/><br/>Zulu is crate trained, but doesn't need one, she is house trained, and the perfect passenger in a car. She always enjoys hanging out at our thrift store and meeting new people. <br/><br/>By the looks of the scars on her face and the almost severed ear, she has most likely had to protect her babies a time or two and are a reminder of the hard life she left behind. And on top of all that, she was heartworm positive. She has been treated and handled it like a champ. <br/><br/>If chillaxing is your thing and you don't mind sweeping up hair, then Zulu may just be the perfect dog for you.
