When Zuko met another dog at the shelter, his tail was wagging wildly, and he was remarkably tolerant of the other dog's high-energy and playful jumping around. It just shows how easygoing and patient he is! We can totally see him fitting right into a loving home. Iredell County Animal Services & Control Department's Adoption Policy

The adoption fee for our dogs and puppies is $80.00. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, the microchip, the first rabies vaccination, the first distemper/parvo vaccination and being de-wormed. The adoption fee for our cats and kittens is $65.00. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, the first rabies vaccination, the first distemper/upper respiratory combo vaccination and being de-wormed. Occassionally, we have other domestic pets for adoption as well, including (but not limited to) hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, goats and horses. Please check for availability of these animals. Our address is 430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC 28677. Take I-40 to exit # 148 and go South on Garner Bagnal Blvd. When you are at the light in front of Kewaunee Scientific, turn right onto Bristol Dr. We are approximately 1/4 mile down on the right behind the Iredell County Agriculture Department. Our visiting hours are from 10:30 am

Our Mission

We have a rabies clinic on the 2nd Tuesday night of every month from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. If your pet has a current rabies vaccination, bring written proof and it can get a 3 year booster vaccination.
