Zorro's Story

Zorro is an amazing cattle dog mix who will greet you with a big doggy smile and wags of his tail. His beautiful pale blue eyes look up often as he wants to play. His soft, short, handsome brindle and white coat probably does not shed much. Zorro has a superpower of walking on his hind legs, which he loves to show off, but he walks nicely on a loose leash too, especially for treats. He may be hiding his masked swordsman traits under his keen intelligence. He would love to show you how fast he can run. This handsome boy wants to please, and will pick up manners and tricks quickly with patience and love.This animal is at the City of Chico Animal Shelter. Cat and kitten adoption fee: $70.00 ($49.00 + $21.00 Co-Pay) Cats over 8 years old: $49.00 Dog adoption fee: $59+ $0-50 (Spay/Neuter Co-Pay) Small animal adoption fee: $12.50 + (Spay/Neuter Co-Pay: $0-50) Dogs are heartworm tested, cats are FELV/FIV tested, and all animals will be microchipped. All animals are currently vaccinated for common canine and feline diseases, dewormed, treated for fleas (when necessary), and are screened for health and temperament. Dog licenses are available at the shelter for the City of Chico. The City of Chico Animal Shelter is located at 2579 Fair St., Chico, CA. We're open every day from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 PM. (By appointment only)
