Zora the Explorer's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello there! My name is Zora the Explorer, and I’m a lovable, energetic 11-month-old Rottweiler.

I was surrendered to the rescue with a broken tibia that had been left untreated, and I was in so much pain. But the amazing people here immediately got me the surgery I needed and I am now fully recovered and ready to conquer the world!

I’m an active dog who loves to run, jump, and play. I’m also very intelligent and need mental stimulation to prevent boredom. Like many Rottweilers, I thrive on having a job to do. If you don’t provide me with one, I might find my own. Once I’ve channeled my energy, I become a very sweet affectionate and cuddly companion. I’m eager to find my forever home and embark on new adventures.

I’m up to date on all my vet visits, housebroken, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. I know how to sit and shake. My new family should be prepared to continue working on my obedience skills and keeping my mind sharp.

I am friendly with people and adore children. I love other dogs, but I believe I’d do best in a home without small dogs or cats. My foster mom says I play a bit too rough with them.

I’m thrilled about the prospect of meeting my new family and starting this exciting chapter of my life!
