Zola's Story

We do not think there is a bigger smile on any dog like smile Zola offers. Her smile and her presence will brighten a room. We are sure that her happy nature is contagious. Her wonderful charm and friendly disposition will be a treasure to behold. Miss Zola is a 2-year-old pit bull terrier mix who weighs around 60 pounds. She is not too big nor too small and she considers herself just right. Zola comes to Dog Star Rescue as an owner surrender due to no fault of her own. Her previous owner did not have the time for her. Spending time with Zola is a treat all in itself. She is great with other dogs and children so playtime as well as snuggling will be welcomed. If hanging out is your thing from time-to-time Zola will be accepting of that as well because spending time with her family is her top priority. She has not had experience with cats since coming into rescue. It is unknown how she would respond to a feline at this time. Her training is in process with her house, crate and leash training. Practice and hard work are the key to making her a success at each skill. Zola will do her best as she knows her forever family will assist her and making her succeed.Zola is sweet, friendly and loaded with personality. If you are looking for a girl that checks off all the boxes for an awesome canine companion, do not look at further than Zola. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
