ZOEY

Zoey is a very special girl in need of a special family! Zoey came to the shelter as part of an animal cruelty case with a male dog named Axel. Both dogs were given extensive veterinary work ups to assess any injuries they may have received. We did find out that Zoey is epileptic but her seizures are currently well controlled with medication. She will need to continue on this medication for the rest of her life and will need follow up visits with a veterinarian to monitor her condition. Despite all she has been through, Zoey is a sweet girl who deserves a fresh start. She loves to play with toys and enjoys treats. She knows "Sit" and "Shake", she does get distracted easily so needs to work on her recall and leash manners but she is eager to learn!
