Meet Zoey!

If you look in the dictionary for the word "sweet", don't be surprised if you see a photo of Zoey there!

This gentle girl is as affectionate as can be. She's just an all around SWEETheart! We can't even begin to describe her wonderful disposition. She loves other dogs, and he's happy to spend time cuddling with humans of all ages. She even loves cats!

This poor little girl was found in the streets of Puerto Rico, and cared for by one of our wonderful rescue partners until she could come to NH, where she is now looking for her forever family.

Zoey is about 2 years old, weighs 33lbs, has all of her required vaccines, and is spayed and microchipped.

The following is a note from Zoey's foster mom:

Zoey is full of energy but also seems to like to nap, and will probably become your best TV show binging cuddle buddy. Zoey has been absolutely wonderful with our seven year old son, playful, yet gentle.

In regards to other household pets, Zoey would do well with an assertive cat / dog. She's been playful with our curious cat and older dog, but has a hard time reading their cues to stop. She chased our shyer cat (in a playful and exuberant manner), but again, might need a playmate that can set real limits. (Our cats do not!)

I think Zoey would love to have a fellow pup in the house. She loves every person and dog she has met. She doesn't seem to have any sensitivities to sound, and has been unreactive to large trucks, blenders, and loud kids. She also lets us touch her entire body, and enjoys being loved on.

I think Zoey's dream home would be an active family with another young dog that she could romp with. She has had a lot of transitions in life and deserves a forever home that can stick with her. She promises to be the best girl you'll ever know.
