Zoey's Story

Zoey is a scared black pit mix. She doesn't know what she's done wrong, or why two foster homes have already given up on her. She's too afraid to lift her head.
She was supposed to stay with us for three days while her foster was out of town. It was going to be difficult because we are already at double capacity, but for 3 days we'd make it work.
Instead, her foster arrived with all her belongings and said he couldn't take her back. She's scared of loud noises, she's scared of his dog. Maybe a quieter place would be better. What a comfortable place it must be to just assume someone else will take care of something inconvenient and wave goodbye.
Zoey doesn't need perfection. She needs one person to choose her. We know that our followers care more than most but it is so difficult to feel like anyone cares in situations like this. Right now, she is terrified. Being surrounded by barking dogs is the worst possible place for her to heal.
If you can help Zoey, please message us.
