Zoey's Story

Adorable 8-month-old Shar Pei mix girl Zoey is such a sweetheart. She has a gentle temperament with both people and other animals and does well in her crate and even seems to be housetrained.

She was extremely fearful of the leash but her foster home is going slow with leash training and she's doing well. She's about 35 pounds and came to us from a shelter where she wasn't coping with kennel life, was out of options and facing euthanasia. We're so grateful to the wonderful team who worked so hard to get her to us, and to her foster home for taking her in.

Making a difference, one animal at a time.

www.dogwoodanimalrescue.org
