She is very affectionate and happiest with her humans. Zoe was adopted from us as a puppy in June 2024 and unfortunately has been returned due to no fault of her own. Zoe has two wonderful modes: she is either ready for an adventure or ready to settle down to snuggle. While she can be a little intimidated when meeting new people, she is won over with a treat and a calm energy. Once she trusts you, she is extremely affectionate and will follow you wherever you go.<br/>Zoe knows how to sit and is fully crate-trained. Although she can stay in her crate overnight and while her humans are away she would prefer to be with you. No one will be happier to greet you when you get home than Zoe! She prefers trails and trees over roads and cars. She would do great with humans who live in a quiet neighborhood and like to hike. A secure, fully fenced-in yard would be best, as she is an impressive jumper! She gets nervous during car rides and likes to lay down low to the floor. She hasn't been around cats. With her large size a home with older children would be best. Zoe loves attention and would do best as either the only dog in the household or with a more submissive dog friend. Zoe is fully vaccinated, up to date on all shots, spayed and chipped. If a crate is required, her favorite Impact Dog Crate will be included with adoption fee. She will thrive in a family with calm, confident leadership to reassure her and make her feel safe.
