Zipper's Story

Age: 2 years
Size: 65 lbs
Estimated breed: Pit bull/Staffordshire terrier mix
Lives with: Dogs

Zipper entered the shelter as a stray in December and was never reclaimed. He did his very best to find a new home, but despite being the shelter's "helper" dog for new dog intros, getting a segment on local news, and being an overall good boy, no one ever came for him. We saw his potential and brought him up to PA to find his forever people!

Zipper is 2 years old, weighs 65 lbs, and is an estimated pit bull mix. He is gentle, walks well on leash, and while he can be a little shy at first, he's always incredibly sweet and easy to be around. He's polite and friendly without being in your face, and as he settles in, his playful side peeks through! Zipper already knows hot to sit, loves a good ear rub, and has a soft, docile nature. When other dogs are nearby, Zipper really comes out of his shell and shows more confidence. He shares his foster home with two other dogs and would love a forever home with at least one friendly to show him the ropes!

Ready to unzip your new best friend? Adopt Zipper! https://www.nirvanaanimalrescue.org/adoption-application

Zipper's adoption fee is $350, which covers his neuter, microchip, vetting, and monthly prevention.

Please note we cannot guarantee the age or breed of any of our dogs. All of our dogs are working on their crate and house training.

PA Kennel License #18366
