Ziggy's Story

Ziggy is full of personality, energy, and love. In true heeler fashion, he’s incredibly smart, eager to please, and always ready for action. He’s food-motivated (which makes training fun!) and really tries his best to listen.

He’s a great walker most of the time, but if he spots another dog (or sometimes a person), he gets very excited and needs a little extra guidance. With continued leash training and consistency, he’s going to do great!

Ziggy is a smart boy and has been working hard on all his big boy house manners. He is doing great!

Ziggy likes his crate and does very well with it. He will eat in there, and he goes in comfortably when we’re not home. He settles nicely and sees it as his comfy space.

This boy LOVES toys and is awesome at playing ball! Fetch is one of his favorite things, and he would thrive in an active family that can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He’s playful, athletic, and sometimes a bit of a jumping bean. He loves to have fun!

He’s very friendly and absolutely convinced he’s a lap dog. If you sit down, expect Ziggy to try to snuggle right into you. He has the sweetest heart and so much love to give.

Ziggy would do best with a family that understands energetic breeds and is ready to continue his training and provide lots of activity. In return, you’ll get a loyal, goofy, ball-loving best friend who will keep you smiling every single day.

If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and delightfully spirited companion, Ziggy might be your guy!

Ziggy was born in October of 2025. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He weighs 26 lbs and is still growing. He has a long tail. Ziggy is taking preventative medication for fleas and heartworms.
