Ziggy's Story

From the words of his foster mom:

We’ve been fostering an adoptable pupper during the winter weather, and OMG, someone I know needs to snap this guy up.

At seven years of age, Ziggy has figured out that chilling is a legit pastime and #lifegoal. Soft dog beds and naps are his favorite things, though snuggles are a close second. He’s quiet as a mouse, unaffected by our dogs, great with our daughter, a good eater, potty trained, and loves snuggles.

Ziggy appears to have the noggin of a Catahoula/cattle dog plunked onto the squat little body of a basset hound. Because his legs are only about 10” long (same, buddy, same), he’s unlikely to try and jump up on your furniture—he knows his limits. He’ll simply sidle up to you for some ear scritches before resettling on his dog bed for another snooze.

Ziggy was on the euthanasia list at a North Georgia shelter when @petplacementcenter rescued him. Of all the dogs we’ve ever fostered or rescued, he is the calmest and most low-maintenance.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $135 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.

If you are interested in this pet, please fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://bit.ly/3HN4Tqq

Visit our website at www.PetPlacementCenter.com
