Ziggy's Story

shelter notes: 8/2-Ziggy was frightened to walk thu the kennels to the little yard so I carried him. Once in the yard he immediate pooped & peed, definitely house broken. He spent much of his time searching for a way to escape but consistently took a break and came to me for some affection. He was not interested in the dog in the next yard. He was brave enough to walk all the way back into recovery. He has a healthy appetite and occasionally would sit for a treat. He is a sweet dog.

those were notes from the pound.
Once in foster awaiting transport, Ziggy gave a puncture would to the volunteer holding him when he began to stand up though he slept with his wife the night prior. He also badly punctured the hand of the transporter when attempting to remove him from the crate. He has a bite history and we have not spent enough time with him yet to know the triggers though obviously he likes to do things on his terms. He is fine when left to his own decision making. And because he is cute and one is drawn to him, no children or elders. Experienced dog people only please.
