Zi's Story

If you’re searching for a dog that’s equal parts brains, beauty, and adventure buddy, you’ve just found her. Meet Zi!
At around 2 years old, Zi is a beautiful, athletic girl with a curious mind and an eagerness to learn. She’s observant, confident, and picks up new things quickly, making her an excellent match for someone who enjoys training and wants a dog that’s ready to be an active partner in life’s adventures.

Before she heads home with her forever family, Zi is making the most of her second chance! She has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, and is heartworm negative. She’s currently enrolled in the 6-week PAWS Prison Training Program, where she’s learning basic obedience, crate training, leash manners, potty training, and all the skills needed to become an exceptional companion. The best part? You can apply while she’s in training and welcome home a dog that’s already had a fantastic head start! Zi will graduate with a training journal and continued trainer support as needed to help set both of you up for success.

Zi is friendly with people and gets along with most dogs. Because she’s confident and energetic, slow, thoughtful introductions to new canine friends are recommended to help everyone start off on the right paw. As for cats... the verdict is still out, so a cat-free home may be her best fit.

Whether it’s neighborhood walks, hiking trails, puzzle toys, or learning new tricks, Zi will thrive with a family that can provide regular exercise, mental enrichment, and plenty of quality time together. Give this girl a job to do, and she’ll be one happy pup!

If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion with a playful spirit, a sharp mind, and endless potential, Zi is ready to impress you. Apply today so she’ll have a family waiting when it’s time for her to graduate from the PAWS Prison Training Program!

To adopt Zi, please Visit our site below
http://www.covingtonanimalrescueeffort.com/
