ZEUS – Zeus is an approximately 3 year old male, black and red German Shepherd. He is neutered and up to date on shots. Zeus knows basic commands and does really well on a leash. He loves his buddies, fetch and carries a toy wherever he goes. Zeus is a diamond in the rough.<br/>Zeus had a tough start. He spent his life on a chain outside. His ears are damaged by flies from that phase. He was seized at 39 pounds. He should be 75. He is 67 pounds. He has had a lot of treatments and was a happy warrior the whole time. At foster he has learned to be housebroke and is crate trained. He has exuberance in his new life and needs the typical shepherd corrections, down, no you cannot come everywhere, and is not good with cats. <br/>He makes friends with everyone else. He started a fan club as he walked through PetSmart. He will need some patience for the first few months. He loves loves loves being included and not alone. He is a smart and very soulful boy. But he loves this new style of life so much he can forget some of his training like just being calm and normal. He may forget Off, what is a toy (and what is not), etc. and it has to be repeated. He takes direction well. He needs some time to know he wiil not be left alone outside again. Once adjusted, he needs a family who does not let the compassion for his history control training and establishing rules for his new life.
