Zeus is a stunning 7/8-year-old Pomeranian/Husky mix weighing about 21 pounds with a sweet, affectionate personality and lots of charm. He came to the shelter through no fault of his own after living in a loving home. Zeus is friendly, social, and loves human attention. Though small, Zeus has energy to burn and will enjoy regular walks, enrichment, and a structured routine.<br/><br/>He does need work on housetraining, as this is not 100% reliable, and he will benefit from consistency and patience in his new home. Zeus appears comfortable around other dogs, though full testing is ongoing and we’ve heard he also gets along well with cats too.<br/><br/>Zeus would do best in a home with adults or older, dog-savvy children who understand respectful handling and supervision.<br/><br/>This sweet boy is looking for a calm, committed home where he can settle in, learn, and enjoy the love and routine he deserves. <br/><br/><br/>We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. <br/><br/>We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. <br/><br/>Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
