Zeus's Story

Zeus has been within a foster home during his time at HAWS, here are some notes from his foster paw-rent:

"Zeus is an incredibly gentle, affectionate boy who absolutely loves to cuddle and soak up belly rubs. He enjoys being close to his people and will happily join you on the couch or try to snuggle up in bed. He's a calm, quiet companion with a very thoughtful and clever personality-he's incredibly intuitive and seems to understand routines and expectations really well.

Zeus is comfortable relaxing in his crate and will often choose it as a cozy, safe space, especially when settling into new environments. He takes treats and even medication very gently from your hand and is not food aggressive at all.

He has a confident, independent side as well, adjusting easily and showing a quiet self-assurance. Overall, Zeus is a relaxed, loving companion who brings a calm and comforting presence to the home.

Zeus has recently had knee surgery and has been doing an amazing job with his recovery. He's been great for his physical therapy and handling all the extra care like a champ. He will need his other knee addressed in the future, but he's already proven to be patient, cooperative, and resilient through the process."

Zeus is looking for a foster-to-adopt home where he can continue his recovery while already being part of a loving family.
