Zeus: Fresh Off the Island and Already Running the Place 🌴🐾 Zeus is our 10-week-old St. Croix island baby, and apparently no one told him he’s small. This guy wakes up every morning with big main-character energy. ✔️ Loves all people�✔️ Loves other dogs�✔️ Loves water�✔️ Pretty sure he believes every human exists solely to admire him. If there’s a puddle, kiddie pool, water bowl, or questionable mud hole… Zeus is already in it. 💦 Island boy rules. He’s outgoing, fearless, and convinced the world is one big party thrown just for him. Honestly, we’re just lucky to live in it. Warning: Adopting Zeus may result in wet floors, stolen hearts, and a sudden urge to buy more beach towels. Lakeside Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process consists of a completed and approved application which includes photo(s) of your home, a personal reference and a vet reference if other pets are currently in the home. All applications must be completed in entirety to be considered. Our adoption fee includes your pet's spay/neuter, UTD vaccines and deworming that are age appropriate, rabies and microchip. Meet and greets are only scheduled with an approved application, and no application will be processed if incomplete. You must fill out an application to help achieve our goal of finding permanent, responsible and loving homes for the animals in our care. Applications are not approved on a first come first served basis, but on which home is best suited for the animal. We rely solely upon adoption fees and donations to continue our mission to rescuing the abused, abandoned and neglected animals of our communities.
