Zeus's Story

Meet the mighty Zeus! Zeus is a sweet 8 pound, 3 year old male chihuahua looking for his forever home. Zeus arrived to CRT as an owner surrender. Zeus is friendly, playful, and SO loveable. Upon surrender, Zeus’ previous owner reported Zeus as being a couch potato who would do well with a senior who would hold him all day. Well, his current foster totally disagrees with that! Zeus plays well with any of the five other dogs in his foster home for as long as they’re willing to play with him. Only when he has worn everyone out does he settle in for a nap. That said, he would really enjoy having a canine playmate at his forever home! Zeus is housetrained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Zeus also knows how to sit for treats! He is easy to carry and doesn’t mind being picked up. He is the perfect little companion! Zeus is fully vetted and vaccinated. He is neutered and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm preventative. Chihuahua Rescue & Transport, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

If you are interested in one of our dogs, please submit an application. We require an adoption application, reference checks and home visit before adoption. We also require that all current pets be UTD on shots, on HW preventative and spayed/neutered. Adoption fee is $300.00 for Chi's over 1 year of age and $350 for Chi's under 1 year of age. Other adoptions fees are priced as listed. We do not set up a meet-n-greet with a dog without an approved application and a completed home visit. The process starts with an online application. When the application and references have been checked, a home visit (HV) is required. After the HV report has been reviewed by our board, a meet-n-greet will be set up.
