Zeus's Story

Big guy Zeus comin' through! This big softie is brand new to CGHS but has won all our hearts over with his playful but gentle personality. Even though Zeus had a rough beginning he doesn't let that stop him from connecting with all people he meets and giving out his love so willingly. He is definitely up there in age (10yrs) for a dog his size but this grandpa carries his 74 lbs quite well, he would still make a great adventure companion and I'm sure he would love hiking up in the mountains.

So far Zeus has done pretty well seeing all the types of dogs we have here, He came from a home with a smaller 12 lb dog and is said to do well with cats. Previous owner says that he not the biggest fan of other males dogs, so he would need to be the only big guy in your life but he would make up for that in snuggle and endless fun! He walks decently well on a leash and he does have some separation anxiety but going from a home to a shelter will do that to you.

This guy is fun and loveable to be stuck at the shelter especially at his age, these should be his golden year of life. Come give him his shot at the best years he could ask for!

Fill out an application at: https://www.columbiagorgehs.org/adopt.html

(All animals adopted out through Columbia Gorge Humane Society come spayed/neutered, up to date on annual vaccines, and rabies vaccinated)
