Zero is a 5-year-old, 20-pound male chihuahua mix from Tijuana! Zero is a playful, affectionate and curious pup.<br/><br/>He has adjusted very well so far during his time in Jersey City. Zero enjoys playing fetch, snuggling up on your lap, and going on long sniff walks.<br/><br/>Zero is a tripod. He was found with an injury that ultimately led to his right hind leg being amputated, but he has adjusted extremely well. He loves to do little tripod jumps when he knows it's time to go out for a walk. <br/><br/>Zero is a smart pup who already knows “no” and “come here”. During his time with his foster family, Zero has made great strides with housetraining since arriving in his foster home. He is doing well going outside to do his business and continuing to build a consistent routine. He has also been doing well with crate training.<br/><br/>Zero is fantastic on a leash and walks right by your side, making strolls together easy and enjoyable.<br/><br/>His forever family will need to continue working with Zero to reinforce and advance the progress he's been making.<br/><br/>He loves to be cozy with his foster family and can often be found with his favorite chilli toy.<br/><br/>Zero is looking for a moderately active family. He appreciates downtime and active moments. Zero is happy as either a solo dog or with another dog in the home. He doesn't show a strong preference and adapts well to different environments.<br/><br/>We believe Zero could do well in a home with children who are gentle and respectful with dogs.<br/><br/>Vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Neutered and microchipped. Tested for vector-borne illnesses.
