My name is Zero, and I want to share all the wonderful things that make me your next new bestie! Looking for a pup that loves the great outdoors? ME...ME..ME! I am fascinated by the squirrels in the yard and promise to always keep them on their best behavior! A nice walk, time in the yard just taking in all the new sights and sounds and smells...perfect! I do love to run and play, and if you have a person or another canine looking for a playmate, pick me! Looking for a Netflix buddy? Yep, that's me! Always happy to give a good cuddle! My foster family likes to brag that I would be the perfect addition to any family, so if you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application, and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can! Warm cuddles and happy tail wags-Zero **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
