Zeni's Story

Meet Zeni
DOB: 9/25/25
Weight: 20 lbs
Energy Level: High
Drive: High
Location: Boring, OR
Zeni is the kind of puppy who will sprint after a ball one second and completely melt into your lap the next. She is incredibly smart and picks up commands quite fast. Zeni thrives on routine, loves learning, and has fantastic handler focus. If you’re looking for a young dog who’s equal parts athlete and cuddle bug, Zeni might just be your girl.
Personality-wise, Zeni is sweet, affectionate, and deeply attached to her people. She loves being near those she trusts and gets so excited every morning to see her foster dog sibling. She’s playful, curious, and confident; but also thoughtful and cautious with new experiences. With proper, slow introductions, she does very well with other dogs and has lovely manners once she’s comfortable.
Zeni is friendly and affectionate with new people and has done well meeting children when toys aren’t involved. Loud noises and fast movements can make her wary, and when overstimulated she may get mouthy, so she benefits from clear structure, redirection, and positive reinforcement. Crate breaks have been a huge help, and she is excellent in her crate (and will let you know when she needs to potty!).
She’s still very much a puppy: shoe chewing, counter surfing, and trash curiosity are works in progress. She loves food, toys, balls, tug, and most importantly - whipped cream (just ask her ).
Zeni would thrive in an active, experienced home, ideally with another dog to learn from. She has the athleticism and drive to excel in dog sports like Fast CAT and beyond. Because she can get overstimulated, a home without small kids is recommended.
Smart. Sporty. Snuggly. Zeni is ready to learn, grow, and love big.
