Zelda Chihuahua Mix Pelham, NH

Hi everyone! We are Zelda and Hilda and it’s time for us to find the home(s) we both deserve!

We are both chi mixes, Hilda is three years old and weighs 10 pounds and Zelda is two years old and 12 pounds. We can be adopted together or we can each find our own separate homes, we are fine with either! Our foster mom thinks we may even be a mother/daughter duo, how cool is that? We promise we are not bonded though!

We are so thankful our foster mom saved us from a kill shelter after we were surrendered there. We’re not sure why we were surrendered though as we both are incredibly sweet! Zelda is a little more shy and reserved than Hilda if we are being honest! But both of us learn to love our humans so so deeply!

Here is a little bit about each of us that hopefully will find us the perfect home. Zelda would do best in a home that’s quiet and doesn’t have a lot of commotion. I love people but young kids may not be a good fit for me. I hear my foster mom use the term Velcro dog a lot! She said I’m extremely loving and cuddly once I feel safe. Couch time is one of my favorite times!!

Hilda warms up a bit quicker. I also love to be on your lap and with you all the time, I am a very sweet gal. I’m definitely the more outgoing of the two of us! Both of us do great with other dogs and cats. Neither of us are super playful though, but we do enjoy the companionship of other animals if that makes sense!

We have been working hard on house training and figured out how to use a doggy door to go outside! We both feel like we are very smart and will pick up where we left off with training once we are in our new homes. We just need comitted adopters!
