Zeke's Story

ZEKE is the sweetest beagle who needs a loving home and comfy lap. No one thinks of beagles as lap dogs, but he definitely is a lap dog. He is looking for YOUR lap to lay his head. He spent most of his life in a cage so he is so grateful for any love and affection he receives. We rescued him from a shelter in VA and he is now in a loving foster home in the Baltimore area. ZEKE is 6 years old, 30 pounds, neutered, UTD, playful, good with dogs and cats. Loves belly rubs. ZEKE has only one problem. He has HAPPY TAIL SYNDROME. Foster Mom reports: "His tail is always wagging and he is such a happy boy. ". He knows he is safe now. He enjoys sniffing his surroundings as all beagles do. He loves his food, as all beagles do. The Rescue Express's Adoption Policy

All potential foster families and adopters are required to fill out an application, both of which can be found on our website. Our foster families are our biggest resource, and the more foster families we add to our family, the more dogs we can save. Our foster families are required to provide a loving, healthy, temporary home for the dogs that we have pulled from shelters who have yet to find their forever families. The rescue covers all medical expenses while our dogs are in foster care. We also require our foster families to work with one of our trainers to address any behavioral problems that develop.
