Hi there, I'm Zed! I'm 3+ years old, and weigh 60+ lbs. I'm smart, eager to please, friendly to all the people I meet, and extremely loyal to my family.<br/><br/>BUT - I'm not the dog for everyone. I'm a little nervous, and a little unsure, and I need a leader who I know I can trust. I'm unpredictable around other dogs, I have lived with them and been great friends with some, but I can get overwhelmed and try to drive away others. And if I don't know someone's in charge, I can also be leash reactive to strange dogs. I'm fine with cats, and even chickens! Young children who aren't dog savvy can push my boundaries, and that's not good for me. I probably do best with kids over 10. I'm not a first-time dog owner, nor am I an apartment dog.<br/><br/>Now here's all the good stuff. I'm 100% house trained, crate trained and leash trained. I share toys and treats and all my favorite things easily. I don't chew anything I'm not supposed to. With a leader I trust (men are my favorite), I learn quickly, and listen to what you say. I love car rides too! Fetch is one of my favorite games, although I'm good at entertaining myself too. And this summer I learned that I like the water, at least I like dipping in the puppy pool.<br/><br/>My perfect home would be a place where I can be the center of attention, get plenty of walks and fun, and be understood for who I am.
