Zazoo

Lovely Zazoo lived in a loving home with kids and another dog. Unfortunately, when the family was unable to remain in their home, they could not find housing that would allow them to keep their dogs. As a result, they made the difficult decision to surrender the dogs to a local shelter. This is never an easy decision. However, sometimes families have simply run out of options. Shelter staff welcomed Zazoo into their care and made sure she had everything she needed to meet with success. Unfortunately, with shelters sitting at or above capacity, staff knew that Zazoo would be most successful if she was placed within a breed specific rescue. Knowing Zazoo would be a great addition to the MAGSR family, our team was thrilled to welcome her. <br/><br/>Zazoo is a stunning girl. Friendly, active, and smart this lady truly embodies the traits of a GSD. As is true of most shepherds, Zazoo will be most successful in a home that will exercise both her body and her mind on a daily basis. This will help her maintain her stable and confident personality. Having lived in a home previously, Zazoo did well with the children in the home. However, as is typical of the breed, she can be protective of the household. With some clear prey drive in place, Zazoo is not suited for a home with small animals or cats. She is already housebroken, crate trained, and knows many of the ins and outs of living in a home. It is important that her forever family, provide her with structure, routine, and leadership so that Zazoo can adapt to the expectations of her forever home. Well aquainted with toys, Zazoo loves to play and can entertain herself or interact with others. <br/><br/>Although Zazoo lived in a home, she does need to learn some leash manners. Our team is already starting this process. Training will go a long way with Zazoo. Not only will training help her develop the skills needed to become a good canine citizen, it will also help her build a strong and healthy bond with her forever family.
