She has put on some weight and eagerly looks forward to a pack walk....even with a man holding the leash (it took her awhile to become comfortable around men)! Zara is still very shy about eating so I put her bowl down and walk away or feed her outside by herself. She will take a treat readily but runs away with it and eats it in privacy.<br/><br/>Zara has become very friendly with company and looks for attention. She gets excited around other dogs and does have a high pitched bark. Zara is protective of her home without being aggressive. She doesn’t seem bothered by squirrels or cats.<br/><br/>Zara is afraid of thunder and if there’s a storm in the night, you will have a new companion in your bed. Snuggled right in.<br/><br/>Zara will crate and likes to be in her crate. But not with the door closed. Zara is still a little shy with men, but doesn’t run and hide anymore. Ideally, she would be happiest in an all female household as an only dog or with a male. She can be bossy with other females.
