Zara's Story

Zara is a 9-week-old Corgi mix who made her grand entrance into the world at an animal shelter—but don’t worry, she’s already upgraded to the good life in a loving foster home. She’s been busy growing up around other dogs, cats, and kids, so she’s basically a tiny social butterfly with extra fluff.

Her hobbies include: collecting toys like priceless treasures, enthusiastically taste-testing bones, being very food-motivated (same, girl), and hosting wrestling matches with her siblings. She’s currently mastering the fine art of potty pads and working hard on her “big girl” outside skills.

Did we mention the hair? Zara is rocking the cutest curly coat that will likely need regular grooming to keep her looking like the adorable little superstar she is.

She’s spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines—so she’s all ready to pack her bags and move into her forever home. All she needs now is someone to fall in love with her (which, honestly, will take about 3 seconds).

If you are interested in adopting Zara, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
