Zara's Story

Zara is an independent, playful aussie mix pup with a smart and curious personality. She is three months old and getting bigger and smarter by the day! When she’s not wrestling with her littermate brother, she’s happily entertaining herself in her pen or exploring her surroundings.

She’s already making great progress with potty training. Zara uses pee pads and has even started signaling when she needs to go outside. On her very first day with her foster family, she pawed at the back door to let them know she had to go! She’ll continue to do well with consistency and routine as she grows.

Zara is comfortable with crate training and will often put herself in her crate when she wants to relax. She sleeps there at night and stays in her crate while her foster family is away.

She’s great with male and female adults and does well with other dogs. She hasn’t met cats or kids yet but would likely do well with proper introductions.

As an active, high-energy pup, Zara would thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise and mental stimulation. A fenced yard is highly recommended so she has space to run and play.

Zara is also wonderfully calm for nail trims and loves belly rubs. With continued training, structure, and lots of love, she’ll grow into an amazing companion.

Zara's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think she may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius.
