After she's had a chance to get her wiggles out, she's equally happy to curl up on a blanket pile or snuggle in close, resting her head on her person.<br/><br/>Zaphire is a true social butterfly. She loves meeting new people and jumps right into life with tail wags and enthusiasm. She has done beautifully with a variety of dogs of different sizes and personalities. She enjoys playing but also adjusts quickly if another dog isn't interested. While she hasn't officially lived with cats, her friendly and adaptable nature suggests she would likely do well with proper introductions. She has been around children and politely, but of course also excitedly, greets them.<br/><br/>Zaphire is fully crate trained and runs right in, happily waiting for her treat. She sleeps in her crate overnight and is crated during the workday. She may let out a brief cry if she's still wound up, but settles quickly and has no accidents in her crate. She is mostly house trained and knows how to alert by pacing or heading toward the door. She does best with a consistent potty schedule or confinement if it's been a few hours, as she won't have accidents in her crate or pen. She's eager to please, picks up skills quickly, and is working on her leash manners and recall.
