She carries herself with grace at the shelter and is always sweet and affectionate with staff and volunteers. <br/><br/>Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10)<br/>7/8<br/><br/>Housetraining Status:<br/>Zailey is making progress with house training and just needs a little guidance and consistency to master it completely.<br/><br/>I should do well in a home: <br/>Zailey would thrive in a home WITHOUT children or cats. She tends to do better with male dogs and could do well with the right canine companion, given a proper introduction and time to adjust.<br/><br/>Zailey's favorite activities are spending quality time with loved ones and being involved in whatever they’re doing. She just love being part of the action!<br/><br/>Doggy Day Out Notes:<br/>"We went to Sierra, Home Depot, and Starbucks and Zailey did fantastic around other dogs in the stores. She looks at the other dog, is curious, and then moves on if the other dog is moving on! She loved a pup cup, and helped me shop. When I would stand in one place for a while, she happily laid down and waited for me to move again. Great listener, VERY highly treat motivated, and so easy to manage in new places. What a fantastic companion!"<br/><br/>"Zailey is the sweetest. She did great on the car rides. She pulls a little on the leash and she lets me know when she's ready to turn around on our walk. She loves playing with plush toys and toys that squeak. She did great around other adults. She was interested in the other dog that passed by on our walk and pulled a little bit, but did not bark. She likes to snuggle and be right in my lap. She is a great listener and I enjoy having her!"<br/><br/>"Zailey is a fan favorite in our house, she loves playing with all of the stuffies, balls and playing hide and seek with her bones. She is the sweetest most well mannered little lady ever. She is PERFECT! She loves snuggling, taking a nap, and rolling around tummy rubs. She is gentle, smart, loving and loyal. She truly deserves the very best happily ever after!"<br/><br/>"Zailey was wonderful. Multiple people complimented her behavior. She takes treats very gently and walked well on leash, She was also very respectful in my apartment."<br/><br/>"Zailey did amazing yet again on our day out! She is such a good walker and even sat while waiting to cross the road. She refused to continue walking when she decided it was time to end the walk. She is just the sweetest girl ever and is so polite when taking treats no matter how excited she was for them. When a dog walked past us she did SO good sitting and keeping her focus on me and the treat even though she really wanted to look at the dog.
