Dumped at the pound by owners who bought him as a puppy, then lost interest in him, poor ZACHARY doesn't know what happened to him. He likes life in foster care, where he gets along well with all the other dogs. He is well crate-trained and has not had an accident in his crate while in foster care. ZACH walks nicely on a leash, and is eager to please his owners. Beagles make great family pets as a general rule -- they have a mild, easygoing temperament, and are sturdy and reliable creatures who bond very strongly with their owners, and usually have a moderate activity level. ZACH weighs about 20 pounds and this should be his weight for the rest of his life. ZACH is heartworm tested negative, up to date on all shots, vet checked, dewormed, and current on monthly Revolution, a flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
