Yukon Alaskan Malamute Gettysburg, PA

Yukon is a three-year-old boy who came to the rescue after his family could no longer take care of him. He is a good boy and wants a family to love him. He would love a hiking partner and someone who has time to spend with him. A fenced-in yard is his dream so he can have the freedom to run and play. He grew up with a child but due to his size, he would do best in a home with a child 8 years and over.

Your application tells us about your lifestyle and helps us find a potential match for you and your family. We are happy to work with you. For example, if you don't have a fence, we can help find alternatives and/or a dog that will do well without a fence.

A home visit is required prior to adoption/fostering. You can visit the malamute(s) once you've completed the process. Alternatively, you may volunteer and learn how rewards-based training brings out the best in malamutes.

CHAAMP accepts applications from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC.

ADOPTION FEES
~Senior dogs (8+ years old): $100.00
~Adult dogs (2 years up to 8): $300.00  
~Puppies (6 months - 2 years): $350.00
~Puppies under 6 months: $375

All Malamutes are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. Puppy fees are higher due to more vet visits and vaccines. The adoption fee helps us cover these costs.
