Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. <br/><br/>Sweet Yuki is a young (3ish) year old neutered Shiba Inu. After being dumped down in Texas, he was rescued by Almost Home Dog Rescue and brought up to Maryland to find his forever home. He is settling into his foster home and is so smart. He has already figured out the whole leash walking and absolutely loves going on walks. Other dogs that love to run around and do zoomies/chase him in the backyard are his favorite. His ideal home would be with a moderately active family (kids included) and at least one other playful dog with a fenced in backyard for his zoomies. Cats are not in his interest as he thinks everyone is there to play. He loves being loved on and will reward you with sweet kisses. It is the cutest thing to see him curl up in the bed at night and watch the television with you. He is relatively quiet but will bark/whine in the crate if he can see you or if he needs to go out. Otherwise he settles right down and sleeps. The best part is he is fully potty trained. He is an amazing little dog that deserves to finally have a home where he can settle down and be part of a real family.<br/><br/>Please note-this breed is not for the first time dog owner.<br/><br/>Adoption Fee is $450. All of our dogs will be microchipped.<br/><br/>We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment.
