Yuki II's Story

YUKI II was an owner surrender due to his elderly mom's health. He joined the rescue weighing 19.2 lbs and should be about `10 to 1`2 pounds. We put him on a healthy diet of cooked vegetables and ground turkey with a supplement. He is also taken outside every few hours for exercise and potty time. The elderly owner had an issue with his urination in the house; we have resolved the issue by taking him out more frequently. He loves the sun, rain or snow. He is a barker, so no apartment life for him. He needs someone that works for from home that can give him the attention he needs. He is good with dogs from 8 lbs to 50 lbs. He doesn't discriminate who he plays with. He is a very sweet 3-year-old boy up for adoption with Ohio American Eskimo Rescue. Ohio American Eskimo Rescue's Adoption Policy

Please read the following comments below before applying to adopt one of our dogs. We do require that anyone wanting to adopt one of your dogs will have to come to Ohio. We do not transport or fly dogs to any location. We want to meet the new family and see the interaction between the dog and human(s). If you have a dog it is required that the dog(s) come with the family so we can see the interaction between the dogs. We will not adopt further than 4 hours away. We need to be able to get the dog back to us if needed. . You will have to fill out an application to adopt one of our dogs. We require a Vet reference and home visit. We will not adopt out to owners that have an invisible fence. It does not protect the dog from humans or other animals from harming the dog. If you do not practice proper care of your past or current dogs you will be denied. We feel that the dog needs an annual wellness exam with the Vet. It is a state law all dogs must have a rabies shot.
