Fast forward a year and a half, and she's settled into a calm, cozy routine. She just needs the right person to help her take the next steps.<br/><br/>Her days are simple and peaceful. You'll usually find her curled up in one of her favorite comfy spots, often sharing a bed with her dog bestie. She's incredibly mellow, quiet, and gentle. She rarely barks and never shows any aggression. She truly is one of the easiest dogs to have around.<br/><br/>Yta absolutely loves other dogs and gains so much confidence from them. Having a canine companion is her happy place, and she would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to help her feel safe and secure.<br/><br/>Mealtime is a highlight and she LOVES rotisserie chicken. She happily sits for treats and has made amazing progress with food sharing, now eating calmly right alongside other dogs.<br/><br/>Because of her past, Yta is still learning to feel comfortable with human touch and isn't able to walk on a leash yet. She will need a patient adopter who understands her touch aversion and is willing to continue working with training. A secure, fenced yard is a must so she can safely go outside.<br/><br/>Yta just needs a dog friend and a person willing to give her time and patience.
