Meet Yoshi
Hello hello fellow gamers!
Ready to zoom around with me and be my forever finish line?!
My start to life was pretty rough. I was found wandering the woods with my brothers, we were so skinny - you could see all our ribs and hip bones. It was hard to stand, we were covered in ick, and we were pretty weak. BUT just look at me now! Healthy, handsome, and oh so dapper. My friends say I am super smart and know all the basic trainings/commands and oh boy I love to show off and learn. I would also like to say that I am a dog of summer! (so it's perfect time to scoop me up). I love sunbathing, napping in the garden, and zooming around the house. I also love car rides, swimming, playing fetch, chomping on ice, watching movies with my people, snacking on pizza crust, sticks (I love a good stick!), and rubber squeaker toys. Honestly, I just love to be included in everything you do.
I am currently hanging out with my friends at the shelter, but I've been in a super loving home for the past year. I am still working through some fear with strangers (due to my abusive/neglectful past) and this home was a bit too busy for me. New faces coming and going from my safe space made me very anxious and it was hard for me to control my big emotions. My past home was SO good to me, they helped me build my smarts (I am a super smart dude), loved me to bits, and made sure I am set up to succeed.
With that said, I will need a patient home willing to help me grow and continue my socialization. A home that does not have a ton of visitors would be ideal. I promise I am a very good boy, the goodest boy. I just need some help managing this big ole world full of scary things. And in return, I will provide a lucky family with a ton of kisses, endless laughter and joy, a listening ear, and I will always have your back as your bestest bud. With proper introductions, I have potential to live in a home with kids and other dogs. I may ask for you to meet me a couple times just to be sure we are friends, making new friends can be a bit scary for me so I appreciate your patience with me.
Ask for Yoshi next time you visit! And bring a stick along if you've got them!
