Yogurt's Story

•Crate-trained
•Potty-trained
•Great with dogs
•Good on leash

Please meet Yogurt (Yogi). This girl was rescued from the streets of South Texas, desperately trying to protect her 10 young puppies. She and her puppies are parvo survivors!

Now that all her puppies found their own homes, Yogurt is finally getting to experience the love she deserves in her foster home filled with comfort, safety, and love. The only thing she is missing is a forever family

She does wonderful with dogs of all sizes, especially her foster brother Rottweiler named Gus. They are the best of friends and he is helping show her all about life as family pet in a real home.

Yogi loves to be around people. She follows her foster dad all around the house and is content being close by him. She looooves pets and belly rubs. She gets so happy playing with toys.

Although we don’t know which breeds Yogi is mixed with, we are guessing some type of Shepherd mix. She is athletic and enjoys walks and playing outside. We believe she would do amazing with a family who is active (hiking, walking, running) and can give her daily exercise.

Yogurt is incredibly smart and is doing great with training, including weekly group training sessions and daycare visits.

Yogurt is currently fostered in Austin, TX but transportation is available for approved adopters outside of Texas.

If you are interested in adding Yogi to your family, please fill out the adoption application found on our website: www.savingsouthtexas.com/adoptables
