Yoder's Story
Meet Yoder!

Yoder is a striking tri-color Collie with a bright smile and an even bigger personality. Born on July 4, 2025, this neutered young male is bursting with happy, high-energy enthusiasm and is ready to find a family who can keep up with his zest for life.

This joyful boy loves to be on the move and would thrive with an active household that enjoys daily exercise, playtime, and ongoing training. Like many young Collies, Yoder is incredibly smart and eager to learn—he just needs guidance and consistency to polish his manners. He is housetrained, takes treats very gently, and is affectionate with his people. He’s still working on not jumping up when excited and can be a little mouthy during play, but with structure and positive reinforcement, he’ll continue to improve.

Yoder’s journey hasn’t been perfect. He came to rescue as an owner surrender, and prior to that was sadly left at a flea market by a breeder. Despite his rough start, Yoder has remained resilient, happy, and full of love. He’s truly ready for a fresh start with a committed family.

His ideal home would be with someone who understands the Collie breed or is dedicated to meeting the needs of a high-energy, intelligent dog. A securely fenced yard is preferred, and he is not suited for apartment or mobile home living. With plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent leadership, Yoder will absolutely shine.

If you’re searching for a fun-loving, active companion and are ready to help a young Collie grow into the incredible dog he’s meant to be, Yoder could be your perfect match.

Adoption fee: $300.00

If interested, please complete an online application at www.bestbuddypetrescue.com
