Yo-Yo's Story
Meet Yo-Yo!

Yo-Yo is a very special boy who was one of eight dogs fortunate enough to fly to the U.S. from Costa Rica in search of a second chance at life. He has been in loving foster care since May 2023 and is still patiently waiting for a forever home to call his own.

Yo-Yo has some neurological challenges from his past, which are noticeable in his walk, but they don’t slow down his joyful spirit. His playful, goofy personality shines through every day, and he is incredibly lovable. He does wonderfully with other dogs in his foster home and is great with kids as well.

This sweet guy loves cozy blankets, snuggling, and relaxing with his peanut butter Kongs. He enjoys a calm, comfortable routine and thrives in a home that will give him patience, affection, and understanding.

Yo-Yo does have incontinence and wears a belly band in his foster home. When not wearing it, he may have a few small accidents per day, but overall he manages well with routine care.

We believe Yo-Yo is a cattle dog mix who truly deserves a patient, loving home that will appreciate him for the special dog he is.

If you’re interested in giving Yo-Yo the loving home he’s been waiting for, please fill out an application. A meet-and-greet and home check are required. His adoption fee is $250.
